I have just finished filming another series of Channel 4’s successful ‘Embarrassing Bodies’.
With 38years experience working in medical microbiology (20 years NHS and 18yrs in academia) , I was delighted to work with Scent Technologies Limited to assess their dry air diffuser and scent technology system. I have worked with natural plant oils and their antimicrobial properties for some time and wanted to see if the positive results I had seen in the laboratory could work in a real-life situation.
My laboratory work was endorsed by trials carried out in the laboratory and offices at Manchester Metropolitan University1 and the Burns Unit, Wythenshawe hospital2 . Sine then a number of trails have been carried out in Ireland and the USA with positive results.
